You are a statistic

Hmm . . .
I refuse to be a statistic.
But just by existing, I am a statistic, because I am one of several billion people. Let me see. . . nope, no matter what I do I will always be a statistic for something.
I guess I'm a statistic just by refusing to be a statistic.
And you! You are a statistic just by reading this. If I were you I wouldn't put up with that. I'd tell me who I was.
What I mean is I, being you, would tell me, myself, that is, not you, but me; that I, being you, was a person, and not a number. That way you, which was me, pretending to be you, you, for the sake of argument, can become not a statistic. But not really. However, you will be a good statistic, because I, being me, will know you, being you, because you told me who you are.
This made total sense before I started.
